Want a cheap, cute, creative and unique party favor? Why not create a mixed CD of your favorite tunes for the guests? Make the songs relate able to the theme of the party. For instance, I recently hosted a vintage baby shower, and used “Mommy & Me Tunes” as the theme for the songs that I put on the CDs. I wrapped them in cute, eco-friendly CD sleeves (that I found at Wal-Mart), tied them up with twine and a tag, and wrote a description of the CD on the tag. I then grabbed pens of two different colors and drew some artwork on the CD sleeves and voila, you’re done! All of the guests loved the CDs and the way they were packed. And the best part…they were super cheap to create! I was able to use songs I already have (however, you may have to buy a few depending on the theme you are using). A pack of CDs runs you anywhere from $5 – $10 depending on how many you need. The sleeves are around $5 per pack. Use ribbon or twine that you already have, and a pack of tags is about $3. So basically, I spent about $13 on these favors. Not bad, huh?
